Hello, My name is Bryan Garaventa; I am the creator of WhatSock.com. I was blinded in 1994, and have been studying web development since the early 2000's. Basically, I wanted to build a system that would automate accessibility. My thought being, that the world needs something like that! It took me until about 2009, to find a way of doing this. AccDC is the result. I got the idea for AccDC while folding socks; The concept being, objects within objects within objects. That's why the company is named WhatSock. AccDC is an API, an Application Programming Interface, that accelerates complex dynamic behaviors for web technologies while automating accessibility for disabled Assistive Technology users. My plan is to convert the AccDC cloud service into a free downloadable module that can be used by international businesses, organizations, universities, and freelance developers wishing to study and create performance enhanced, automatically accessible web technologies. I'm also working on a book, Changing the World with AccDC, which will be an advanced programming guide for developers and students wishing to maximize AccDC functionality, and to learn automatically accessible programming techniques. AccDC has the power to change the fabric of the web into a better place for all of us. I know that sounds grandiose, but it's the simple truth. With your pledges, all of this and more is possible. There are many more examples of AccDC in the description area, so please don't forget to check them out. Thank you for watching.
